Symptoms:

  • Check engine light will come on

Causes:

  • Faulty exhaust back pressure valve
  • Open or shorted Exhaust back pressure valve
  • Poor electrical connection in the Exhaust back pressure valve

Possible Solutions:

  • Run through a diagnostic test before you begin any repairs
  • Start small, if that does not provide solution, you can start replacing larger components on your vehicle
