Our Heritage

EEC was founded in 1997 by John Clark after vehicle manufacturers began installing catalytic converters as standard in the early 1990’s. John was already a well established figure in the Automotive Exhaust industry and his experience and wealth of knowledge ensured the success of EEC. 

Since this time EEC has grown to become one of the largest manufacturers of Type approved Catalysts and Diesel Particulate Filters for the UK and European automotive aftermarket. EEC manufactures and stocks over 5,000 different direct fit catalysts, DPFs and Exhaust Pipes and complies with all European Type Approval legislation. To meet our customer’s needs, EEC has expanded its portfolio of products which now includes exhaust accessories and additives. 

Since its inception EEC has grown to comprise of 3 manufacturing sites across the UK, as well as a European distribution point in France.
