Our DPFs come with either Cordierite or Silicon Carbide cores. Whereas cordierite is ‘industry standard’ a Silicon Carbide substrate offers higher thermal capacity, withstanding temperatures of up to 2700°c giving greater durability. The majority of EEC DPFs carry both substrate choices. SIC DPF part number have an ‘S’ suffix.
EEC is able to provide it’s customers with a range of pipe connectors which are specifically designed to fit a specific pipe diameter to ensure that there are no leaks when joining two products together.
Read MoreOur Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) come with either Cordierite or Silicon Carbide cores. Cordierite is the ‘industry standard’ within the aftermarket and offers a durable but cost-effective alternative to the OE equivalent. Made from ceramic material, the porous substrate allows exhaust gases to flow through the walls of the filter but traps the physical soot particles. The DPF will require regeneration at a certain fill level to ensure it achieves its service life.
EEC has one of the widest ranges of DPFs, covering PLG and LCV vehicles up to and including Euro 6 legislation.
