Committed to our technical training and customer support, we have been working this February with more customers to help them improve their knowledge of the vehicle emissions system.
Our Technical Trainer, Stuart Still, visited a customer site in Stockport for a training session on 5th February, attended by over 15 of their garages.
Stuart presented an in-depth overview of the cause of faults with DPF’s, how the EEC DPF Reset Tool can help them increase their service offering and revenue opportunities, and how to understand the values of a 4 Gas Analyser.
Customers learnt that the most common failures can be related to air problems and not over fuelling, caused by filtration problems or an air hole in the system.
The training session was held in conjunction with Bosch, who were teaching attendees about diesel engines, and focussed on diesel injectors and fault finding, as these are often commonly related issues to the Diesel Particulate Filter.
