Aftermarket garages will be able to regenerate and diagnose issues with Diesel Particulate Filters fitted to popular Nissan models with the latest upgrade to a unique industry tool.
Since its launch in 2011, the tool now covers 283 different vehicles from: Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Citroen, Fiat, Ford, GM-Opel, Mazda, Mercedes, Nissan, Peugeot, Saab, Seat, Skoda, Volkswagen and Volvo.
The Nissan Navara, Qashqai, Qashqai+2 and X-Trail vehicles are the latest addition, with more planned for the future.
The specialised hand-held EEC DPF Reset Tool allows garages to regenerate DPF’s, reset the EOLYS additive light, identify fault codes and perform a filter replacement function and static regeneration – without the assistance of a main dealer.
