DPF failure reasons

Did you know DPF’s can fail because:


– Poor engine maintenance
– Malfunctioning pressure sensors/pipes (condensation in the pipes)
– Faulty temperature sensors
– Incorrect oil temperature
– Faulty EGR valve
– Damaged exhaust system
– Corrosion/fractures
– Incorrect fuel
– Short runs (lack of temperature).

Remember, regeneration will not take place when the fuel light is on, or if there is less than 20 litres in the tank, or if your foot is resting on the clutch pedal.
